Syrah grown at Sutherland Estate Vineyard on the northern end of the Dixons Creek valley. Gentle south facing slopes in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. 10 acres on vineyard on a 100 acre bushblock.
Red clay loam soils. Handpicked and fermented as whole bunches. Foot stomped every other day over a two maceration. Pressed to old oak for a 10 month elevage.
Medium weighted. Blue fruited. Cherry and raspberry with a lick of white pepper.
