2024 Where's Your Head At - Sauvignon Blanc

From the Homestead Vineyard in Yarra Glen, this is Sauvignon Blanc
with a very different agenda. Fermented on skins for 120 days after
knocking the head out of a barrel, then left to settle and evolve for 18
months in old oak.

It’s all texture and shape — less about primary fruit, more about savoury
detail and quiet complexity. Think preserved citrus, dried herbs, a little
hay and a gentle oxidative edge. There’s grip here, but it’s fine and
integrated, carrying long through the palate.

A wine that sits somewhere between white and red in feel — structured,
a bit wild, but ultimately composed. Not your usual Sauvignon Blanc,
and better for it.
